Afcona -4046

Afcona -4046 by Afcona Additives is a high molecular weight polymeric dispersant for deflocculation of all type of pigments. It has very good stability performance, through effective steric hindrance. It offers higher color strength, lower viscosity, improved gloss & DOI and reduces flooding problems. It is compatible with all solvent-based resins. It is mainly used in industrial and baking paints, epoxies, UPE’s that need very good pigment stability. Afcona -4046 is also used in preparation of universal pigment concentrates. It can be diluted in butyl acetate/methoxy propyl acetate/sec-butanol spirit. Recommended dosage level for TiO2 is 2-3%, other inorganic pigments is 2-4%, organic pigments is 20-40% and carbon black is 20-60%. The shelf life is 5 years.
