Afcona -4016

Afcona -4016 by Afcona Additives is a polymeric dispersant mainly for modified polyurethane polymer, organic and inorganic pigments. It is developed for stabilizing TiO2, iron oxides, and matting agents. It is suitable for solvent-based coatings. It has good compatibility with resins, CAB, and thermoplastic acrylic. It also can act as a post-adding additive for the correction of flooding and floating effects. Afcona -4016 is designed for high-performance industrial coatings and decorative paints. It can be diluted in butylacetate/methoxy propyl acetate/ alkylbenzene. Recommended dosage level for titanium dioxide is 2-4%, inorganic pigments is 5-10%, organic pigments is 20- 40% and carbon black is 30-60%. The shelf life is 5 years.
