Afcona -3771

Afcona -3771 by Afcona Additives is a leveling and surface tension reducing agent for non-aqueous coatings. It is an acrylic modified fluorocarbon. It contains carboxylic acid groups to increase the polarity of polymer. It provides compatibility with most resins used in coatings. It gives anti-flooding & floating, prevents craters & orange-peel and helps substrate wetting. Afcona -3771 shows good performance in polyurethane, epoxy as well as baking paints, coil, and can systems. It can be diluted in sec. butanal spirit. Recommended dosage level is 0.3-2.0% and under normal condition is 0.3-0.7% based on total formulation. The shelf life is 5 years.
