Afcona -3588

Afcona -3588 by Afcona Additives is silicone-based leveling, wetting and anti-crater agent for aqueous coatings and inks without the influent of inter-coat adhesion. It is an organically modified polysiloxane for aqueous systems. Afcona -3588 shows good substrate wetting, improved leveling, and little or no foam stabilization. It moves very fast in the defective part of the coating and can decrease the surface tension easily. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1.0% and under normal conditions is 0.1-0.5% based on total formulation. The shelf life of this grade is 5 years.
