Afcona -3581E

Afcona -3581E by Afcona Additives is silicone-based leveling and anti-crater agent for water-based coatings without influent of inter coating adhesion. It is an organically modified polysiloxane with short chain repeatable units of siloxane. Afcona -3581E is widely used in electroplating and electro-deposition coating to avoid crater formation as well as giving a smooth, good leveling and good appearance coatings. It can be diluted in methoxy propoxy propanol spirit. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1.0% and under normal condition is 0.1-0.3% based on total formulation. The shelf life is 3 years.
