Afcona -2027

Afcona -2027 by Afcona Additives is a silicon-based defoaming polymer modified with fluorocarbon. It prevents the formation of foam and blisters during manufacture and application. It shows good compatibility with most resins. It is used for medium viscosity and is applied by sprays and brushes. Afcona -2027 is Afcona -2025 in ethyl acetate solvent specially created for printing ink from offset, gravure, flexo to UV applications. It can be used in low polarity to high polarity. The recommended dosage level is 0.1-1.0% and under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.20-0.40% based on total formulation. The shelf-life of the grade is 5 years.
