Submit Your Proposal

There are two ways of answering a Request For Proposals (RFP) and submit your solution:

  1. Fill in the form at the bottom of the webpage where the RFP is posted,
  2. Download the proposal template from its webpage (word document), fill it and send it back to open-innovation@specialchem.com. You may benefit from this opportunity to attach additional information or references to support the uniqueness and maturity of your solution.

OI Request introduction

How detailed should the proposal be?

Your proposal should explain how it does indeed answer the request, how mature your solution is, why your solution is better than other ones, and ideally the costs and availabilities.
If some resources (equipment or financials) are required to fully develop or scale up your technology, you should mention it in your proposal too.

Is proprietary information protected?

Non-protected proprietary information should not be shared during this phase.  SpecialChem does not guarantee the protection of proprietary information as they will be shared to the SpecialChem Client.
Only information you would share to answer an invitation to tender should be sent.

Who owns the information submitted?

The content of your proposal is SpecialChem Client’s property. SpecialChem has no rights on received proposals. As such, we will never use it in any other project or media, nor in any sort of advertisement or communication.

What Happens To Your Proposal?

Proposals are gathered in a friendly form and directly shared to the SpecialChem Client. Proposals are not filtered or sorted by SpecialChem (there is no need as they are coming from a qualified network, specialized in chemicals and materials).
The SpecialChem Client sees your proposal and evaluates it (fit with request, maturity, uniqueness, and quality). They contact directly submitters if interested.
SpecialChem goal is to allow this connection to happen. As such, we aren’t facilitating or managing your business conversation.

Will I be notified if my proposal is not accepted?

Yes, SpecialChem makes sure that each of the submitters get notified within 60 days after closure of the promotion. We will let you know whether your proposal is accepted or not.

Do I Have To Pay To Submit A Proposal?

Submitting your proposal is free, and you don’t even need to be part of SpecialChem community ! Generating business opportunities has never been more easy.
