PPA - 7062

Phenalkamine. Acts as an epoxy hardener or curing agent. It is mannich base, a reaction product of distilled cashew nutshell liquid and polyamine. PPA - 7062 is a solution of epoxy adduct of phenalkamine. Very good compatibility with epoxy resin based on bis - phenol A, bis - phenol F as well as phenolic novolacs. Offers excellent rapid cure even at low temperatures, excellent curing under humid as well as damp conditions and workable pot life at lower temperature. Also has a non critical mixing ratio, low viscosity, very good flexibility and good chemical, solvent as well as water resistance. Used in medium to high solid coatings, surface tolerant primers for metallic substrate, tank linings, flooring, construction and industrial as well as marine coatings applications.
