Ocean graduated from Rutgers University in 2013 with a Bachelors in Chemistry. He joined Elementis in 2014 as a defoamer chemist in technical service where he formulated and developed defoamer products to expand the product line. Eventually, he moved into waterborne applications with a focus on rheology. Ocean holds a Masters in Polymer Science & Engineering from Lehigh University since 2021.
