Ricardo Luiz is an experienced chemist with a solid background in the Chemical Industry, currently serving as the Senior Technical Service and Development Leader for the Coatings segment across Latin America. With a remarkable career spanning over 15 years, he has actively contributed to various markets, including Polyurethane, Mining, Oil & Gas, Industrial Water Treatment, Industrial Commodities, and Building Blocks. Ricardo has a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the prestigious University of São Paulo (USP) and further specialization in Synthesis of Corrosion Inhibitors through his Master's degree. His expertise and dedication have resulted in successful contributions to Dow.
Mónica is a Chemical Engineer from Universidad de los Andes- Colombia. She first joined Dow in 2006 as intern for the PU business, then moved to São Paulo-Brazil in 2008 to pursue a master’s degree in Chemical Engineer at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP)- Brazil. She returned back to Dow in 2010 and started as TS&D for Dow Plastics Additives (DPA). Mónica was also responsible for the technical support and development in Dow Construction Chemicals (DCC) later in 2014 and since 2018 she has been fully dedicated as TS&D at Dow Coatings Materials (DCM) for the Andean-Central America and Caribbean regions in Latin America, focusing in the architectural and Industrial coating segments.
J. Alberto Pino is Dow’s Global Paint Vision Leader, responsible for driving the next generation of coatings formulation. Alberto joined Dow in 2011 and has held many roles driving the company’s growth strategy. Prior to this position, he was the Global Strategist for Consumer Solutions Division, has served as Marketing Manager for Home Care in Latin America and was Manager of the Consumer Value Chain for the Northern Region of Latin America, covering Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. He has a Master's Degree in Cosmetic Formulation and Derma-pharmacy from CESIF (Center for Advanced Studies in the Pharmaceutical Industry) in Madrid, Spain.
