Michem® by Michelman is a versatile family of additives and resins used to improve the processing and performance of paints and coatings.

Michem® portfolio of grades include:

  • Water-based Polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) enhance toughness, scratch resistance, water-resistance and flexibility.
  • Glide products are water-based high slip additives.
  • Guard waterborne dispersions add optimum slip, and abrasion, mar, and block resistance.
  • Lube nanoscale wax emulsions are mostly carnauba and paraffin-based.
  • Prime functionalized copolymer dispersions deliver the flexibility, water, and chemical resistance, and barrier properties of polyethylene in a water-based form.
