VINNAPAS® 4042 H by Wacker is a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer. Exhibits a slight hydrophobic effect. It provides flexural strength, deformability and abrasion resistance and is dispersible in water. It has no effect on rheology and exhibits anti-blocking properties. Easily blends with mortars and provides them high strength and very good workability. It is a polymeric binder with a low glass transition temperature. It is a white to light beige colored solid powder with a shelf life of 6 months. Polyvinyl alcohol is used as a protective colloid/emulsifier system. VINNAPAS® 4042 H by Wacker is highly recommended for top coats in ETICS.
