CASAMID® 878 by Thomas Swan is an alcohol soluble polyamide resin. It also acts as an anti-blocking agent when used with low levels of nitrocelluose. It exhibits solubility with higher alcohols and hydrocarbon solvents. CASAMID® 878 is suitable for flexographic inks and release lacquers. The shelf-life of this grade is 12 months. It offers low gelation-resistant than other resins of similar type.
