Rovene® 4049

Rovene® 4049 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion. It has a medium hand with good strength properties. It provides high water & grease resistance films with low moisture vapor transmission. It can be compounded to high solids using calcium carbonate, clays and alumina trihydrate. These compounds dry rapidly and impart good tensile strength with excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates. It is recommended for paper coatings, textile and nonwoven applications. Rovene® 4049 is typically used in grease resistance and moisture vapor barrier coating applications.
