Rovene® 4489

Rovene® 4489 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion. It is a low VOC containing latex and is crosslinkable with external crosslinkers. It imparts good wet and dry tensile strength. It has good adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces, contributing to good tuft binds and excellent delaminations in carpet applications. It can be compounded to high solids using calcium carbonate, clays and alumina trihydrate as fillers. Rovene® 4489 is recommended for carpet and textile back coatings.
