Rovene® 4021

Rovene® 4021 by Mallard Creek Polymers is an APEO-free, hydrophobic, self-crosslinking, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion. It has a firm hand with outstanding strength properties. It is an excellent binder offering stiffness, toughness and water resistance. It also accepts high filler loads of calcium carbonate, clays and alumina trihydrate and still retains excellent tensile strength. It improves solvent resistance of treated substrates. It is a latex especially suited for high-loft nonwoven, textile and performance coating applications. Rovene® 4021 is recommended for applications in textile and needle-punch backcoatings and performance coatings. It can be used as a primary binder for industrial & household floor care, scrub pads and for bonding wet wipes, industrial wipes and filters. It is used in medical garments, metal coatings and automotive underbody.
