Pen-cote™ L1000

Pen-cote™ L1000 by Ingredion is a ready-to-use naturally derived binder based on starch. Its design at the molecular level promotes optimal cross-linking to achieve high binder strength. It gives a uniform coating for equal or better performance at the printer. Improves water holding by 40-50% with less binder migration for better coating for a better-looking sheet or board. It maintains gloss because more binder stays on the sheet surface rather than migrating into the sheet. Pen-cote™ L1000 is suitable for use as a co-binder with latex in base-coat and top-coat coating formulations for high-volume users.
