Pen-cote™ D-UHV

Pen-cote™ D-UHV by Ingredion is a ready-to-use naturally derived binder. Provides a uniform coating for equal or better performance at the printer. Its design at the molecular level promotes optimal cross linking to achieve high binder strength. It can be re-wetted using the available water in pigment slurries to build coating solids. Improves water holding by 40-50% with less binder migration for better coating for a better looking sheet or board. Increases the flexibility of coating formulations. Pen-cote™ D-UHV is used for paper coating applications. Meets FDA 21 CFR.176.170, FDA 21 CFR 176.180 and BfR Recommendation XXXVI.
