Hauthane HD-2120

A very hard, aliphatic, polyester polyurethane dispersion. Can be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or rotogravure applications. It can be thickened with associative thickeners for alternative application methods. Offers superior adhesion to PVC, excellent UV resistance, exceptional alcohol resistance, humidity resistance and contains n-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) co-solvent. Coatings containing this polymer form hard, tough, hydrolysis-, chemical- and stain-resistant films, which approach 2-component polyurethane performance levels. Superior adhesion to PVC makes it the ideal candidate for automotive interior parts, vinyl furniture and components. Also provides tough, chemical resistant, glossy coatings which may be applied to a variety of substrates including concrete, metals, plastics and wood materials.
