Arez PM1036

Rosin modified phenolic resin. It is an amber-brown, hard and brittle resin with medium to low solubility, high viscosity and medium structure. It provides high gloss, very fast setting and excellent press stability under high shear conditions. Shows excellent compatibility with aromatic free mineral distillates. These properties, combined with low tack and low misting make it well suited for sheet-fed and web-fed offset inks. Exhibits medium to high viscous structured visco-elastic behavior. Also used in letterpress.
