VISCOPOL™ 5080

VISCOPOL™ 5080 by allnex is a high molecular weight, fine particle size, high performance styrene acrylic emulsion. It is designed for interior texture finishes, membrane coatings, interior wall paint topcoats, interior & exterior wall primers and cement roof coating primers.

• It shows excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates.
• It exhibits good flexibility, good alkali-, scrub-, & blister- resistance and excellent response to associative thickeners.
• It is used in water-based decorative concrete primer, interior topcoat, clear and pigmented primers.
• It is used across high and low PVC’s.
• Recommended dosage level is 5-9% based on polymer solids & PVC and 3-4% for roof coatings primers, lower depending on cure temperatures.
• VISCOPOL™ 5080 has a shelf life of 180 days.
