VIALKYD® VAF 7109/55SNA

VIALKYD® VAF 7109/55SNA by allnex is a medium oil, drying polyester resin modified with 48% special drying vegetable fatty acids (as triglycerides) and 26% phthalic anhydride. It is suitable for top-quality automobile repair, industrial enamels, radiator- and white paints. It can be combined with melamine-formaldehyde resins for use in forced drying systems (<80 °C).

• It can be diluted with esters, ketones, glycol-ethers & -esters, as well as with aromatic & aliphatic solvents, but shows limited dilutability with alcohols.
• Paints based on VIALKYD® VAF 7109/55SNA show rapid initial and through drying also in high film thicknesses.
• The films exhibit high gloss, outstanding yellowing resistance, excellent gloss retention and weather resistance.
• It shows compatibility with medium & long oil alkyd resins, drying oils & rosin-based resins, and limited compatibility with nitrocellulose and maleic resins with high melting point.
• It has a shelf life of 730 days.
