SETAL® 11-1470

SETAL® 11-1470 by allnex is a HAPS-free, chain-stopped soybean oil alkyd resin. It is used in the manufacturing of general industrial air dry, force dry, (160-180°F surface temperature) or bake enamels. It is a quick-curing resin with high gloss potential. This product displays good color- & gloss retention in exterior paints. It exhibits good aliphatic solvent tolerance, good compatibility and positive dry with good film hardness. It can resist chipping and fracture when modified with flexibilizer. SETAL® 11-1470 is used in aerosol coatings. It is also used as a modifier for short bake alkyds to speed up cure & maintain cost. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
