SETAL® 11-1162

SETAL® 11-1162 by allnex is a short oil coconut alkyd designed for use in non-lifting cellulose nitrate lacquers, conversion varnishes and baking enamels. This resin is similar to SETAL® 11-1162 but supplied in a different solvent blend. Its pale color is suitable for clear lacquers, conversion varnishes and pastel bake enamels. It provides good lacquer hardness development for optimum print resistance and contributes to good flow and film clarity. It is an excellent choice for lacquers, enamels and acid cure varnishes and used where initial color and color retention are of prime importance. It has shelf life of 1 year. It is delivered as 70.0% non-volatile in iso-butanol/toluene/xylene (58/34/8).
