EMTEC™ 5021

EMTEC™ 5021 by allnex is an APEO free styrene acrylic emulsion of fine particle size which film forms below its theoretical Tg. It shows a faster build-up of water resistance than the acrylics and even more outstanding water resistance and adhesion of the dried film. It provides good gloss, hardness and hold out. It has neutral rheology and excellent thickener response. EMTEC™ 5021 is suitable for coatings over porous fiberboard surfaces, industrial wood, metal primers application. It is ideal for formulating flexographic & gravure inks and gloss overprint varnishes, often in combination with harder vehicles. The shelf life of the grade is 360 days.
