EMTEC™ 5005

EMTEC™ 5005 by allnex is a colloid stabilized styrene acrylic emulsion of fine to medium particle size. It exhibits exceptional water resistance and superior adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces. It offers neutral rheology and excellent thickener response. It is recommended for high PVC sanding sealers and primer surfacers over paper- faced gypsum board, cement based fiber board & concrete surfaces. Metal primers and topcoats can also be formulated on this vehicle as the excellent adhesion is evident on nonporous surfaces. It can be used alone as a wash coat. The shelf life of EMTEC™ 5005 is 360 days.
