Sicomin® Red L 3125

Sicomin® Red L 3125 by Sun Chemical (DIC) is a highly stabilized, inorganic pigment, lead chromate molybdate sulfate. It consists of mixed crystals consisting of lead chromate, lead sulfate and lead molybdate. It is used when the emphasis is on economy rather than fastness to light, weathering, and resistance to sulfur dioxide. It is not a mixture of lead chromate molybdate and lead sulfate and is, for stabilization purposes, coated with silicate and antimony compounds. It is particularly suitable as the sole colorant present, either in the full or reduced shades, as well as in combination with other pigments for producing oranges and greens. Sicomin® Red L 3125 is used in industrial coatings.
