Sicomin® Red L 3025 Type U

Sicomin® Red L 3025 Type U by Sun Chemical (DIC) is a lead chromate molybdate sulfate. The heat stability depends on the binder and solvent system used. It is used when the emphasis is on economy rather than fastness to light, weathering, and resistance to sulfur dioxide. It is particularly suitable as the sole colorant present, either in the full or reduced shades, as well as in combination with other pigments for producing oranges and greens. It has low content of lead compounds soluble in hydrochloric acid and is an economical alternative to the XX35 S series with somewhat lower fastness properties. Sicomin® Red L 3025 Type U is used in industrial coatings.
