Arctic® Black 10G903

Arctic® Black 10G903 by Shepherd is a chromium iron oxide pigment produced by high temperature calcination. It has low heat build-up and has exceptional durability and hiding power and is generally used in applications where resistance to heat, light and weather are needed. It is non-bleeding and non-migratory. This pigment is IR reflective, has good UV- & visible- opacity and high infrared reflection. It is chemically inert, heat resistant and stable to ultraviolet light. It shows compatibility with most resin systems and polymers, and is non-warping. Arctic® Black 10G903 is used in inks, liquid and powder coatings. It is a balance between Arctic® Black 10G996 and Arctic® Black 10P950 pigments in both masstone color and tinting strength, with slightly lower IR reflectance.
