Versatic™ Acid 10 by Hexion is a synthetic, sterically hindered carboxylic acid with a long and highly branched alkyl chemical structure. It can be used as a viscosity modifier and offers high resistance to chemicals, oxidative compounds and thermal conditions.

It is used primarily used as an intermediate to make polyesters and chemical products.
It is hydrophobic and non-polar and has a branched neo structure.
Versatic™ Acid 10 offers low surface tension and excellent hydrolytic stability and is designed for industrial and protective coating applications.
