Terasperse® 2230

It acts as a dispersing agent. It is a low VOC, high-performance dispersant that is free of alkyl phenol ethoxylates and very effective with both organic & inorganic pigments for a wide variety of water-based systems, including urethanes, alkyds, acrylics, polyesters & epoxies. Offers the benefits of stability with high pigment/binder ratios, compatibility with a wide variety of resins including 2-component systems. This product does not promote foam, has negligible effect on gloss, hardness and dry time. Through its well-balanced surface-active functionality, it provides an excellent combination of hydrophilic and hydrophobic attributes, allowing the formulator to optimize the dispersion of almost all pigments and extenders, including such difficult-to- disperse pigments as phthalo blue, phthalo green and carbon black. Recommended for finished coating or ink applications to boost color acceptance.
