Terasperse® 2000

Terasperse® 2000 by Pflaumer Brothers is a non-ionic surfactant, dispersant and wetting agent for water-based coating systems including latex emulsions and water-reducible resins. It is effective with difficult-to-disperse pigments, such as carbon black and phthalo blue, in a wide variety of aqueous vehicles. It provides fast, efficient pigment dispersion without foaming problems.

It is used in tint bases to improve color acceptance with many commercial universal colorant systems.
It is effective for dispersing high oil-absorbing pigments in aqueous systems.
Recommended dosage of Terasperse® 2000 for use with a phthalo blue in a water-reducible alkyd might be 1.5-2% based on the weight of pigment.
