PAT-ADD AF 43

PAT-ADD AF 43 by Patcham FZC is oil, VOC and silicone free defoamer. It is based on synthetic organic surface active compounds. It offers excellent de-airing and defoaming properties as well as excellent alkali- and acid resistance. It contributes to substrate wetting and is shear resistant. It is specifically suggested for applications such as low PVC systems, where it shows improved film properties versus oily and silicone defoamers. It is dispersible in aqueous systems and can be incorporated by applying mild dispersion forces. PAT-ADD AF 43 is most suitable for use in dispersion paints, for alkaline or acid systems, aqueous air-drying paints and plasters. Used in waterborne coatings, including varnishes and wood-coatings as well as in flexo, aqueous inks and pigment dispersions. Its recommended dosage is between 0.2 and 1.0% calculated on the total weight of the system and 1% for pigment dispersions. It is a REACH compliant.
