PPA - 7125 (7085)

Phenalkamine based on distilled CNSL. Acts as an epoxy hardener or curing agent. Shows intense yellowing during exterior exposure and as such has color value very high on gardner scale. It is a polyamide equivalent. Very good compatibility with epoxy resin based on bis - phenol A, bis - phenol F as well as phenolic novolacs. Offers excellent rapid cure even at low temperatures, superior corrosion resistance and excellent curing under humid as well as damp conditions. Also has a non critical mixing ratio, very good flexibility and good chemical, solvent as well as water resistance. It assists formulator to develop lighter shades in epoxy phenalkamine systems with workable pot life. Used in solvent free as well as high solid coatings, surface tolerant primers for metallic substrates and pipeline, tank, industrial as well as marine coatings applications.
