PPA - 7088

Phenalkamine. Acts as an epoxy hardener or curing agent. Provides a very good corrosion and water resistance properties. It is a mannich base reaction product of distilled cashew nutshell liquid and polyamine. Gives very good adhesion to difficult substrate like inorganic zinc primers. Very good compatibility with epoxy resin based on bis - phenol A, bis - phenol F as well as phenolic novolacs. Has low viscosity, excellent curing under humid as well as damp conditions and workable pot life at lower temperature. Also have a non critical mixing ratio, very good flexibility and good chemical as well as solvent resistance. It is developed to get faster curing at low temperatures so as to get multiple coats at lower temperatures. Used in medium to high solid coatings, surface tolerant primers for metallic substrate, tank linings, flooring, construction and industrial as well as marine coating applications.
