Omyasphere 227-FQ

Omyasphere 227-FQ by Omya is a lightweight filler. Possesses low density and high consistent brightness. Offers savings on transportation costs by replacing conventional fillers such as silica sand while improving coating properties. It is based on closed-cell expanded perlite. Provides lower environmental emissions in the transportation of finished goods, higher yield & increased coating thickness, easier application and processing. Used in joint fillers, spackles, elastomeric roof and high reflective coatings for inorganic and organic binder systems. It is also used in architectural paints and industrial coatings as a second choice. Exhibits improved thermal emittance, excellent sanding properties and improved storage stability. Omyasphere 227-FQ has controlled top cut and less weight per volume unit of product applied.
