Omyasphere 953

Omyasphere 953 by Omya is a highly spherical, lightweight filler. It is based on hollow glass microspheres and hermetic single cell. It exhibits high compressive strength, low density, enhanced dimensional stability and excellent optical properties. It provides weight reduction, increases yield and improves rheological behavior of final paints and coatings. Omyasphere 953 offers smooth surface finish, excellent aesthetics, improved thermal insulation, outstanding chemical and temperature resistance. It shows improved sprayability during the overhead spraying operations (>150 bars) and can withstand high pressure & harsh processing (high shear rates). It allows thicker coats due to less cracking. It provides higher coverage rate & elasticity, reduced breakage, enhanced solar reflectivity index and improved service life. It can be used in inorganic & organic binder systems, lubricants & inks, spray applied spackles, plasters & renders, architectural paints and industrial- & elastomeric roof coatings.
