Butanox® LPT-IN

Butanox® LPT-IN by Nouryon is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide in diisobutyl phthalate. Acts as a curing agent. Being thermally unstable substance, it may undergo self accelerating decomposition. Compatible with unsaturated polyester resins, unsaturated polyesters and vinylester resins. Butanox® LPT-IN is used in continuous laminating, fiber glass reinforced plastics, filament winding, gelcoats, hand lay-up & spray-up, resin transfer molding, GRP products for e.g. marine applications and thermoset composites. Recommended dosage is 1 - 4 phr. It is listed on TSCA.
