CoatOSil™ P576

CoatOSil™ P576 by Momentive Performance Materials is a medium-hard high solid phenylmethyl silicone resin, dissolved in solvent. Acts as a corrosion inhibitor. It offers good thermal stability up to 600°C. It is partly compatible with UD range and organic binders. Designed to formulate coatings for machine components, engine manifolds, car exhaust silencers and drying units using one-coat finishes. Coatings formulated with CoatOSil™ P576 are dry tack-free at room temperature, yielding films with good weather stability and mechanical and corrosion resistance. It has a shelf life of 360 days.
