CoatOSil™ M120XB

CoatOSil M120XB by Momentive Performance Materials is a hard methyl silicone resin. Available as 50% solution in xylene. Acts as a corrosion inhibitor. It is suitable for the formulation of heat-resistant anti-corrosive coatings and heat-stable anti-stick finishes. Compatible with straight methyl silicone resins or oils. It is recommended for applications including waste gas stacks, blast furnace gas pipes and cracking plants. Coatings based on CoatOSil M120XB can dry at room temperature so it has excellent weather stability and release properties.
