CoatOSil™ 2287 by Momentive Performance Materials is silane which is used as an adhesion promoter and crosslinking additive. It is used in wood furniture, flooring finishes and metal coatings. Provides improved water resistance and wet adhesion, with good shelf stability. Improves wet and dry adhesion, without yellowing. Offers performance consistency with aging. CoatOSil™ 2287 enhances water and organic solvent resistance of coatings.
