Luvotix® PAB

Finely micronized polyamide based on a blend of fatty acid amides. Acts as a rheological additive. Controls the rheological properties of the formulations, the viscosity at low shear rates is increased and the system shows thixotropic properties. Offers sag-control, good levelling and anti-settling properties. Its optimum performance is achieved at process temperatures above 55°C. LUVOTIX® PAB can be used in primers as well as in glossy top-coat systems. It is suitable for solvent-borne and solvent-free medium to higher polar liquid organic systems, industrial coatings as well as corrosion protection coatings. Recommended dosage level in coatings typically 0.5-2 %, based on total formulation weight.
