K-Kat® XC-B221

Bismuth carboxylate. Used as a catalyst. Provides similar properties to standard tin catalysts without the environmental drawbacks. Offers very good gloss retention and exterior durability. Recommended for 2K and blocked isocyanate coatings. Can replace many heavy metals and/or toxic catalysts used in the production of coatings. Especially effective in cationic electro-coatings based on blocked isocyanates.
