K-Kat® XK-639

Is a non-tin catalyst. Possesses good cure time characteristics, non-yellowing, excellent gloss retention, and good pot life in 2K PU systems. It is soluble in ketones, esters, alcohols & aromatics and insoluble in water. Can be added directly to the polyol component in 2K systems or to blocked isocyanate systems at anytime during the manufacturing process. Applicable for ambient cured or force dried 2-component solvent based polyurethane systems and thermal cured 1-component blocked isocyanate systems. Recommended usage levels include 0.1-0.5% as supplied on total resin solids for 2-component polyurethane systems, and 0.5-1.5% as supplied on total resin solids for blocked isocyanate systems.
