Omnivadd XP 5065

Omnivadd XP 5065 by IGM Resins is a low molecular weight, wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-based coatings.

It improves the pigment wetting and stabilizes the pigment dispersion.
It enhances the dispersion of inorganic pigments and stabilizes the suspension of special effect pigments.
It is suitable for medium- to high-polar systems such as nitrocellulose systems, alkyd/amino resin combinations, polyurethane and chlorinated polymer systems, acrylic polyisocyanate systems (two-pack acrylics).
It is particularly effective in preventing flooding of titanium dioxide in combination with other color pigments.
It improves dispersion or suspension stability and color strength.
It provides lower viscosity, higher pigment loading and higher gloss or luster.
It is very effective in stabilizing titanium dioxide and activating rheological modifiers such as bentonites and other activated fillers.
It is suitable for wood, plastic, metal coatings, flexographic & screen printing inks and electronics applications.
The dosage level of the grade is 1-5% for TiO2, 5-10% for bentonites/thickeners and 1-5% for metallic or special effect flakes.
Omnivadd XP 5065 has a shelf life of 5 years.
