Omnivadd WD 2720

Omnivadd WD 2720 by IGM Resins is a silicone-free anti-foam agent that supports the quick de-aeration of thermosetting resin systems so that foam and blister-free self levelling compounds and laminates can be processed. It acts as an air release and levelling additive.

• It demonstrates no negative influence on inter-coat adhesion when overcoated.
• Omnivadd WD 2720 is designed for use in wood, plastic and metal coatings, printing inks and composites.
• When it is used in conjunction with Omnivadd SP 5044 or Omnivadd XP 5066 in pigmented compounds lower viscosity results can be achieved.
• It can be used in pigmented and non-pigmented systems such as unsaturated polyesters, two-pack epoxies, epoxy floorings, acrylic/vinylacetate-combinations and oil-free polyesters.
• It is suitable for solvent-based formulations and used in printing inks and over-print varnishes.
• It reduces the foam accumulation in the ink pan and reservoir during the printing process.
• It is also suitable for UV-curing formulations and gel coats.
• It can also be used in screen, gravure and flexographic printing inks.
• The dosage level of the grade is 0.1-1.0% for coatings and inks and 0.1-0.8% for composites.
