Omnivadd WD 2020

Omnivadd WD 2020 by IGM Resins is a silicone-based foam control additive for solvent-based coatings, printing inks and composite. It can prevent foam and bubble formation during paint production, filling and application.

• It displays spontaneous defoaming properties and demonstrates no negative influence on inter-coat adhesion when overcoated.
• It is highly recommended in thermoplastic acrylics especially when applied by brush or roller, nitrocellulose, acid-curing wood finishes, unsaturated polyesters and cold-curing epoxy systems applications.
• It is particularly effective in nitrocellulose-based systems and may be used in gravure and flexographic printing.
• It is suitable for gel coats, laminating, lay-up and spray-up processes.
• The dosage level of the grade is 0.05-0.7% for coatings, 0.1-0.7% for printing inks and 0.1-0.5% based on total formulation for composites.
• Omnivadd WD 2020 has a shelf life of 5 years.
