Omnivadd SP 5010

Omnivadd SP 5010 by IGM Resins is a low molecular weight wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-based coatings.
  • It improves pigment wetting, reduces the grinding time and stabilizes the pigment dispersion.
  • It deflocculates pigment, reduces the dispersion time, increases gloss and flow and prevents flooding & floating.
  • It reduces viscosity and improves gloss & leveling of the coatings.
  • It is suitable for stabilizing inorganic pigments & extenders in particular titanium dioxide and strongly reduces mill-base viscosity.
  • It is applicable for general industrial, transportation, (OEM and car refinish), acid-catalyzed systems such as coil coatings and PU sanding sealers such as wood coatings.
  • It helps to wet and disperse extenders (CaCO3 and Al(OH)3) with unsaturated polyester resins or combinations with polystyrene, polyvinyl acetate and styrene-butadiene copolymers.
  • It is used in plastic, metal coatings and electronics industry.
  • The dosage level of the grade is 5.0-0.0% for inorganic pigments, 1.0-5.0% for TiO2 & extenders and 2.0-4.0% on extenders for composites.
  • Omnivadd SP 5010 has a shelf life of 5 years.
