Omnivadd SP 5001 by IGM Resins is cost-effective wetting and dispersing additive to improve pigment wetting and stabilize the dispersion. It is a controlled flocculating agent and used in primers and undercoats.

It helps to prevent interfacial tension between hydrophilic pigments/extenders and binders.
It creates thixotropy and therefore prevents flooding and floating, settling of the pigments and reduces sagging.
It can be used to gel organophilic bentonites and produces pastes with improved flow, process ability and storage stability.
It is mainly used in anti-corrosion and marine paints based on alkyds, chlorinated rubber, and bituminous derivates.
It is suitable for all kinds of oil- or alkyd-based coatings, wash or shop primers and waterborne systems.
It is used in wood, metal, plastic coatings and electronics industry.
The dosage level of the grade is 0.5-2.0% for inorganic pigments and 30.0-50.0% for bentonites.
Omnivadd SP 5001 has a shelf life of 5 years.
