Omnivadd SP 4061

Omnivadd SP 4061 by IGM Resins is a high molecular weight wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-based coatings as well as pigment concentrates. It is suitable for stabilizing carbon blacks with a fine particle size as well as organic pigments.

• It exhibits outstanding reduction of mill base viscosity.
• It deflocculates pigments and stabilizes them by means of steric hindrance.
• Steric stabilization prevents co-flocculation, which leads to flood and float-free color in pigment mixtures.
• It reduces dispersion time and improves color strength.
• It provides lower viscosity and higher gloss.
• It is used in wood, metal, plastic, automotive coatings and electronics industry.
• The dosage level of the grade is 10% of oil absorption value for inorganic pigments, 30-50% of BET value for organic pigments and 15-25% of DBP value for carbon blacks.
• Omnivadd SP 4061 has a shelf life of 5 years.
